SYC/RYC #3 March 29 - 30, 2008
This is a good opportunity to become familiar
with
San Jose, the venue for the
2008 Summer National Championships.

All competitions will be separate men and women.

- Youth 10: 1997-2000
- Youth 12: 1995-1998
- Youth 14: 1993-1996
Entry form: The
entry form is posted
here. There are two versions: A print-only
PDF and a fillable PDF. All entries are on paper
only; we have made provisions to allow you to
email in the entry form. All entries will
receive a confirmation letter.

cutoff date for reservations is February 27,

staff are volunteers and we will do our best to
get back to you in as quickly as we can.
AskFRED: This
tournament is not using AskFRED for registration
in order to better serve the fencers, especially
the new fencers, and to hold down the costs of
the tournament. Our complete AskFRED policy is

Regional Youth Circuit is the best way for youngsters to start into
successful fencing career and fencing life! Fencing is a Game!

For young competitive fencers Regional Youth Circuit
events are very important. RYC competitions serve as qualifying events for
Youth 10 and Youth 12 fencers for National American Cups (NACs) and
Summer National Championships.

Registration Forms for RYC#2 in Menlo Park are
due on or before December
1st, 2007. RYC will
feature 18 events for boys and girls including three
weapons (foil, epee, saber) for three age groups
(youth 10, youth 12, and youth 14). This RYC will
also feature
School Open Cup for all fencers who would like
to compete and represent their schools. All
competitions will feature trophies, medals for top
8, and prizes.

The Youth and Junior Pacific Coast Championships are hosted by the Pacific Coast Section annually. In 2007 the tournament will be held in Pasadena, California, March 16-18.Competitions are Youth 10, Youth 12, Youth 14, Cadet and Under 19. All competitions other than the Under 19 competitions are open to all members of the USFA and to foreign fencers with valid FIE licenses. The Under 19 competitions (only) are a qualifier for the USFA's Summer National Championships and are open only to members of the Divisions within the Pacific Cosst Section. The Divisions of the Pacific Coast Section are in California, Hawaii and Nevada: Central California, Hawaii, Mountain Valley, Nevada, North Coast, Northern California, Orange Coast, San Bernardino, San Diego, Southern California.

Youth Coordinator for Northern California Region
encompassing Northern Coast, Northern California,
Central California and Mountain Valley.

RYC event. Please submit your bids to RYC Coordinator Valerie
Rosenblatt via email valerie@emfc.net.
- Bids for RYC competitions in 2007-2008
season are accepted.
Clubs wishing to hold an RYC event must follow the
RYC Hosting Requirements published
by the USFA.
Please send an email describing your venue, list of referees
you are inviting, and direct balcony committee.
